Charter for using the BienVenue 2024 website

BienVenue 2024 - Charter for using the BienVenue 2024 website

The City of Paris, together with the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau, would like to take advantage of the fact that Paris is hosting the largest international sports events – the highlight being the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games – to provide stakeholders involved in these events (media, committees, federations, sponsors, etc.) with a catalogue of iconic or unusual Parisian venues that they can book for their own event requirements (site office, festive or promotional venue, media set, etc.).

The City of Paris’ aim is to simplify procedures for national and international stakeholders. It also wants to showcase Paris’ heritage and its iconic and / or atypical spaces and introduce major international operators to them.

This website features numerous venues – both private and public. Its aim is to put site managers in touch with event organizers. However, it is most definitely not a booking platform. All contractual arrangements will need to be made directly between the various stakeholders. Finally, it provides a great deal of practical information to help clients, while at the same time having a committed CSR approach.

The City of Paris and the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau are therefore seeking to bolster the appeal of the Paris area, while at the same time being in line with the City’s global international strategy of targeting event, business and leisure tourism that will enhance the capital’s image and lead to economic benefits. The tool developed constitutes a certain heritage, singling out the listed venues after the Games and will serve as a means of promoting Paris as a destination in the long term.

This charter sets out the commitments that need to be adhered to based on the type of person using the website.
